I went to a rave last weekend with 3 of my friends. I've taken LSD multiple times before, but for another friend it was his second time.

I gave him 2/3 of a 150ug tab, then about 1.5 hours in he took the remaining 1/3. About 2.5 hours in he had what seemed to be a seizure. His fists balled up, he fell to the floor, and he was frothing at the mouth. We've been to multiple raves before, and this has never happened to him before.

I'm just trying to figure out what happened. One member of the management at the venue said this happens on LSD sometimes and that he'll be fine (he eventually was, though we went home after the incident) but I was pretty freaked out and remain freaked out about the whole thing. He told me in the lead up to it he was feeling a bit too hot and wanted to go outside (it was a semi-closed venue, and during a chilly-ish night).

Has anyone experienced this before? I am trying to figure out what happened and why. He is not on any SSRIs or medications in general. Though later I found out that he had not slept in over 30 hours or something. Day of taking LSD he had only a very light meal about 4 hours beforehand.
