Bad acid

Got some suspicious tabs that I noticed were underdosed in the past. I took a bunch of them knowing they were underdosed and suddenly my lip started swelling. I have a lot of allergies so this was very much an allergic reaction, so I freaked out and ended up in the ER. I’ve taken acid before with no problems, do you guys think this could’ve been because of all the dye I was ingesting in the tabs, or something else?
