Bad Trip. Why Did It Happen?

Hello all,
Been taking LSD recreationally and for personal healing purposes for about 10 months now.
A week ago me and my bf took about 200ug or 1 tab each around 9pm, but the strangest thing happened to me where I believe that I had a "bad trip" get triggered for no apparent reason. Meaning there was no perceived threat or anything that happened for me to feel panicked or for my body to be triggered for it to happen to begin with.

All was going well, until about 8 hours or so into the trip when we were trying to get settled into bed to get some rest around 4am-5am. Where my body seemingly very suddenly out of nowhere responded in this way: Waves of increased heart rate, discomfort in the chest, restlessness, anxiety, tingling in my digits, cold extremities (hands & feet), pale complexion, overly sensitive to outside stimulation; such as sound, touch, pressure, sight, etc.

Only thing that was different about this time around were these two things:

  • About 4-6 hours PRIOR to the trip or taking a tab, I decided to take 5mg of adderal (dextroamphetamine) because I had read on here that it helped people to focus better.
    • Was taking the low dose addy a mistake?
  • Ingested between 15-25mg (up to 30mg max) of THC/CBN oil about 2-3 hours into the trip.
    • This is what is making me think is the culprit, but is it really?

All of these symptoms or this reaction came in waves and I did my best to stay connected by breathing or humming to myself and once things felt a little calm, I would try to relax. But it would suddenly come back and it felt like it was getting worse by climbing or peaking in an upsurging pattern.

It was quite alarming for me because it felt like I was going to black out and this made me afraid. Also, I didn't understand why or what was causing this response to happen to begin with. Nor did I know how to get my body to calm down and get these waves to stop. It got so bad that I felt that I had to call an ambulance for help after a warm/hot shower did not fix or help things.

Anyway, has anyone else experienced anything like this? How does one avoid this response happening? Even though there was no threat or trigger, it felt like my body was responding by "panicking" or having a "panic attack." Could it have been the addy or weed oil? I don't believe that I have ever had this response with either substance in my body. But then again the routine was off for this day. (Normally I take addy earlier in the day, not around 5pm)

I would like to trip again soon, but understandably I don't want to experience this situation again. Any help, advice or info is much appreciated! thank you!!
