I know stuff like this is frequently asked but the answers vary too much to make me feel safe about deciding if we are going to trip or nah. My best friend has been on 20mg lexapro daily for a month now. We want to trip together again but we’re not sure if this is risky/would work at all. As far as I know the risk of serotonin syndrome in combination with anti depressants is a lot lower than a lot of people say. I also know that anti depressants dull the effects of psychedelics due to them interacting with the same receptors, right? Would she even feel anything? How much more would she have to take than me, so we both would feel similar effects?

She suggested to stop taking the lexapro for a bit, this sounds really stupid to me and I don’t think this would be safe, but if it is contrary to what I’d be guessing, what duration would be the best?
