I had a trip yesterday with my mate and he lost the plot. I never knew acid could have such an effect.

We each took 220ug and had a nice gentle come-up, but the slow introduction of pleasant visuals and euphoric confidence for me was the opposite for my mate. He lost all touch with reality and went into a delirious state, he could barely string a sentence together. He kept thinking he was dead and in purgatory and kept having suicidal thoughts. Luckily I kept my shit together and had a quite pleasant trip but i didn't know acid could make someone lose the plot so much. Has anyone had a similar experience? He says today he can barely remember a thing but ays its given him a lot of insight into some deep emotions he didn't know he had. Ultimately id like to think the trip guided him for the better but its tricky given how he was.
