How can some people have a multi-dimensional trip with just 100mcg but not me with even 200mcg?

Is it just because of different brain chemistry? Do neurodivergent/neurotypical people need a higher dose to feel the same effects?
Let's say there's no LSD tolerance, no drug interactions and set & setting are good. What else can make the same dose act differently on different people?
I'm aware psychedelics work in mysterious ways and we don't have enough research on this but why do some people have a very intense trip on a low dose while others can't even match that with a 2x or 3x the dose?
