hello fellow psychadelic users. i had a really nice trip last week on 2 tabs of decent tested LSD. i had dosed around 11/12 midnight. the come up was fine, and when the visuals hit they hit nicely.

around 2-3am, i started having extreme difficulty with peeing, i mean it was damn near impossible to pee. i pretty much spent from 3-5am in the bathroom trying to pee because I know I had to, the feeling was there without a doubt. i tried to take a break from going to the bathroom and just go to my room and enjoy some music and play guitar, but i could just not get comfortable because of how bad I had to pee, I would go to the bathroom and just couldn’t seem to get the pee signals to reach my bladder. i could not figure out how to pee. i had some luck getting in the shower and using the hot water technique which helped a little bit, but i still couldn’t seem to pee property or empty my bladder. the urinary retention persisted until like 2-3pm when i was trying to go to sleep. I was fine once i woke up. so annoying

has anyone else ever had difficulty voiding on psychedelics? if so what could be the mechanism behind this? the vasoconstriction? i want to trip again in a few weeks but I am kinda turned off from doing so because of the fear of being uncomfortable and needing to be catheterized lol.
