Hey folks, having an odd issue with the proctorU equipment check in advance of the august flex. It can't 'find' my camera or microphone, however I see the page as using both my camera and microphone and i can see that the video feed on the testing page is working fine.

Support was unable to fix it, though when they opened up the testing interface they were able to see and hear me without any problems. They seemed to think that despite me failing the test, I would not have issues on test day.

Wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue and if they can confirm what support said? I can always borrow my girlfriend's computer if needed as it works fine there, but if possible I'd of course prefer to use my own.

possibly relevant info: microsoft surface 3 laptop, windows 10 home, all permissions enabled, flash and extension installed. Some surface products are listed as having problems, although the surface 3 laptop is not one of them.

edit to include that within the 'test your equipment' interface i can select the dropdown lists for microphone, camera, and speakers, though the lists are unpopulated.
