Like many here im finding it hard to predict what my score was. However if it goes south I’m thinking about what I could do to improve next time after having gained the experience of taking the test. I used LSAT Demon to study and did a section a day with PT on the weekend.
If I retake I plan to:
Focus more RC. I got really good at LR but I’ve realized that what was keeping me from getting above low 170s on PTs was a lack of focus on RC. It made sense to focus on LR at the time but I’m starting to see that I left points on the table.
Learn (some) formal logic. While do subscribe to the Demon philosophy that it’s mostly unnecessary I do think that certain question types probably are easier if one has some background with logic. Particularly parallel reasoning.
Pick a better hotel room and take the test later in the day. I had a bad nights sleep at the hotel cause it was next to a highway. Taking it at 8:30 was too early for the amount of sleep I got. I read you score higher earlier in the day but it left too little time to adapt.
Take more caffeine. Seems obvious but I got in and realize one coffee was not enough pretty quickly.
Ask how to use the chat feature beforehand. I didn’t take a bathroom break cause I couldn’t figure out how to message my proctor. By section 4 I was bugging out.
Did you warm up with a few Lr questions before loading into your test? I did around 5 warmup questions the morning of about an hour before testing.
Same format and same desire for starting with LR and not RC. I felt good as well. What sections did you have? I had LR1 & LR3, RC2.
Well, in spite of how you feel, you may have done just fine! Wait till you get your score back before making a determination. That’s all we can do honestly.

Lmfao, a practice test before your real test? Why in the hell would you do this to yourself? Just because you did not feel mentally fatigued does not mean you were in fact not mentally fatigued. That sounds like an extremely poor strategy to do your best on the official test.
