I’m making this post because I think I made one of the dumbest decisions of my life.
I just bought my first ls430 but it has 245k miles. Timing belt was done at about 200k and maintenance records are there.
But, two concerns. There’s a slight leak at the drain plug (assuming it’s loose or worn seal)
And the day of driving it home I got a check engine light and check vsc light. This happened after I noticed some vibrations then pressing on the brakes.
Checked oil it’s about 1/2 full. Clean oil though.
Ran the system for some codes.
And received the following : P1346 & p1349
Later that evening after driving home from work the car seemed to vibrate a bit more and the check engine light began flashing.
I’m wondering what course of action I should take that this rate? I’m assuming making sure the oil level and plug is good?
Or should I check vvt solenoids?
