The show has quickly become my new favorite podcast. It's basically LPOTL with all the quality research and info being about musicians instead of murderers and the stories somehow still end up being batshit insane a lot of the time.

I'm not even a big fan of punk but I've learned so much about bands I already knew and bands I didn't know thanks to all the episodes so far.

I'd like to learn more about eras and scenes I'm not familiar with but a part of me wants Marcus and Carolina to cover stuff I already know and love just to get their opinion on a lot of it.

A series on early doom metal would be terrific. Start with Black Sabbath, mention Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Witchfinder General and Pagan Altar. I'd love to get their take on the genre.
