A few episodes ago it became pretty obvious that Adar wasn't going to survive this season. It was nice how they de-aged him while wearing Nenya. Would've been nice to find out his backstory before his demise (I honestly just want to know how he became Orc Father while being an entirely different race) Don't like how they pump faked when he was talking about the name he used to go by when he was all elfy. The other day I jokingly left a comment saying he might be Glorfindel (blasphemy) but all in all I do feel like the writers made him to be some mighty elf who is mentioned in the The Silmarillion but whose name can't be used on the show because of rights issues.
It's not hard to figure out if you know history but we're in 2024 and no one reads anymore so if you get the reference I made in the title in connection to the show then kudos to you.
