Help identifying/verify information.

I have these two plates. As the story goes they were put on a factory fresh Volve in 1965 and driven around Copenhagen and Germany for a few months and then shipped to Seattle. Once in Seattle the plates were taken off the car and hung on a nail.
My question, can someone help verify any of this? It is internet and things happen. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for looking.
