Hi all!!

So I have had this phone for about a year now. I started within the past week having the issue of half of the screen goes blank.... right at the colon for the time.

Here's where it gets weird...

this is intermittent-- Meaning it started, lasted 3 days and then it was back to normal!

First time I thought I bumped it the wrong way. This time it was literally just laying there. I turn off the screen, pick it up after a friend texts me.. and BOOM! open up the screen and half of it is gray.

Now, the gray does change color. when it boots (verizon!) it turns red, or what ever color the top bar is. I'd say it's the equivalent to the rolling fields of error messages and the passages of bars we used to make in WinXP. Except this isn't nearly as pretty... should I get a new display? I don't want to drop a hundred dollars to get it repaired... but this is getting old! HALP!

is a exact way how it looks but less colorful.

and all digitizer functions work.
