I know this is a very controversial topic, especially since Catholics are usually very monoamorous and polyamory is associated with the sex positive secular scene, but who else is both? It’s hard for me to choose one identity over the other, and there’s a part of me who wants to build a community over that. In my case, I am more into multiple committed, long-term romantic relationships. I’ve been searching up for Catholic and polyamorous groups for a while, but there’s literally nobody on the internet that is practicing both. Not just being culturally religious, but let’s say, pray daily, go to mass weekly, etc. I want to make sure I’m not alone in this, on top of being bi. I want to find people who want a lifelong partnership and we can talk.
I get it if nobody answers or if I receive hate speech over this. It’s my very first time positing here and I’ve lurked here for months now. I enjoy this community and feel like this is pretty much the only place that I can find the intersection. I’m a Catholic catechumen at the moment. Hope to hear from you guys!
