Hi friends,
Some of you may have seen my mini rant on Matt Fradd's latest video. I was at a point of being done with the Church and the people in it but I recently started attending an affirming Catholic church and started reading about the progressive/revolutionary Jesus and I'm hooking. If you look at the Church as a whole, Matt's side is losing and those of us who follow a Jesus who is radically against poverty, and racism and is radically pro-the marginalized are the future. Read some Dorothy Day (and a book called The God Who Riots) and she may change your faith life around. If the mass is too much for you, don't go, BUT many pastors would love to chat with you and learn about your experience. I chatted with a pastor near me and he gave me a big hug and seemed to almost cry. They're out there and Jesus wants you to find them. I have a theology minor (two classes short of double majoring), and if ANYONE wants to chat, please let me know. The radical God we worship loves you no matter what, some theologians would say He loves the marginalized even more. I love you all. ❤️
