When I was younger, I used to play this game called Cyber nation's (CN). CN was a text based web browser game and it was so much fun, basically it was a nation simulator.

The thing about CN that was amazing was the community who played the game. In the game you would have to join an alliance and that would be listed on your nation's page, but the real magic happened outside of the game. You see once you joined an alliance in game you would hang out in that alliances out of game forums and IRC. Alliances would have ministers such as the minister of foreign affairs who would make accounts on other alliances forums and build relationships (all outside of the actual game)

I am looking for a game like this, one where the members of an alliance you're in chat someplace like discord, where the roleplaying continues and members can hold certain ranks and positions within the alliance.
