So since it is Girls Camp season, I had an idea from a friend to post my story of my last Girls Camp and the naughty that came with it.

So it was customary in our ward to do a "prank" or something daring for your last year. I remember when I was about 14, us younger girls found a few of the "seniors" doing their prank where they decided to hang their underwear on the flag pole for the stake leaders to find the next morning. There was 3 of us that weren't coming back the next year, all seniors and wanted to do something fun!! Our ward was very close for the most part, we got along very well and the 3 of us knew we wanted to do something fun and "extra".

One of the other girls had the idea of going skinny dipping in the lake where we were camped. Now keep this in mind, we were camping at Fishlake in August. Even in August, that water is ice cold every time. I told her she was crazy, and there was no way I was doing it. We went down to the lake the first afternoon anyway just go hang out with the younger girls, but we also went to scope out a place "just in case". The first night nothing happened and we chickened out, but the second day we became more bold. We talked about it and planned and got more used to the idea. I was dating my husband and the time and he knew what was going on and told me I was crazy, but was supportive.

We decided midnight was the time and we started walking down the trail. A few of the younger girls decided to tag along and were not quiet at all during our trek. There was no way the leaders didn't hear us, but I think they knew I was in the group so they trusted me (I was on seminary council that school year and was the bishops daughter).

The lake was in view and we told the younger girls to stay behind. One of the other senior girls chickened out and she stayed behind with the younger ones to watch them. It was me and "T" left. We walked closer to the water and started to strip our clothes. We agreed to not look at the other and just go in when we were ready. There was no moon that night so it was pitch black and we couldn't see hardly at all. I stepped into the water and it was so cold!! My nipples hardened instantly and I was not looking forward to going the rest of the way in. The way into the water was slippery rocks, so I tried my best not to fall in as I'm walking farther into the water. I got waist deep and had a hard time wanting to go farther. I peeked over at T and saw she was mostly deep in the water. I wasn't sure I could go any farther! We stayed for a few more minutes in silence, then decided to get out and get dressed. Not sure if she ever looked at me, but I kept my eyes to myself and got dressed. After, we slowly moved up the shore and walked back up to the cabin. The girls asked if we had done it and how cold it was. It was VERY COLD!!! But worth the adventure 😉
