About a month ago I came to this subreddit asking for general advice about being in a LDR because I was going to ask out the girl I’d been talking to. Well, after having read everyone’s responses and thinking over it for a couple extra days to make sure this is something I really wanted to try, I asked her out. She said yes. Then some stuff happened in her life pretty much immediately after and communication became incredibly infrequent for about a week. But I understood because she was dealing with a lot and had other stuff that needed her attention. However, I have not heard anything from her in 2 weeks. She wasn’t responding to my texts, she wouldn’t answer my calls, she wasn’t reading my texts, she wasn’t opening or responding to my snaps, she wasn’t looking at anything that I was sending her on instagram. And I thought that was rather strange and I was getting worried so I went to text her today just to say hi…and the message wouldn’t send. So I checked everything and I was blocked.

I don’t think there’s a point to this post other than for me to vent. She seemed so cool. And she was so smart and funny and beautiful and kind and understanding. I’m just a bit sad that after having so many conversations about how we’re basically the same person and neither of us are interested in pursuing anyone else…I get ghosted. I wish I knew why.
