So I don't know anything about sound/production, but I am a huge music fan in general and spend a fair amount on audio equipment (headphones etc.)
All I do know is there is something about LCD's albums that just sound so great, so clear, compared to a lot of stuff I hear, particularly other dance music.
So what is it that makes them sound so good - something about the production/engineering?
It's that everything sounds so natural rather than plastic/fake, even though its often electronic instruments (synths, drum samples). I don't hear this with other electronic music.
Is it just me, or is it James Murphy's genius?
