Hi everyone, after getting my masters and loving the field of work that I have been doing I have finally gotten to a point where I feel comfortable and seeking something long term with someone who shares similar interest as I do. A bit about myself, I am 33 years old, I live in Los Angeles, I work full time, have my masters in applied behavior analysis and overall I am just a nerd. I love playing video games, whether mobile games, Nintendo switch, or PC gaming. I play a variety of games and usually open to new games. Outside of online games I love playing magic the gathering. Me and my friends would typically play in person at a local shop or if we were lazy, we would point our webcams down to our tables, and just show where our cards go and where our decks are at and play that way. I never tried the online version just because I feel the game loses a bit when you can speak to the other person or crack jokes. Outside of that I love most nerdy things like Pokémon, watching anime (recently finished arcane and keeping up with one piece). I am a bit more of a homebody but with the right person or 2 I do love going to card shops, Korean BBQ, or playing Pokémon go. Music is a big part of my life, I love alternative music, music from anime, and most indie songs but sometimes I do listen to some pop music just depends on my mood. Im sure there is more I can say but I rather not spill all the beans now lol

What I am seeking in a partner is someone who I can talk to about my day, engage in nerdy activities, someone who can be affectionate but at the same time be honest and stay within their boundaries (In the past I had a partner who would just do things or activities that were of my interest and not theirs and I didnt like the feeling of them doing things just because I like them, I like someone who can say to do things they want to do and they like so I can get to know them better and see their world.) Communication and honesty is a big thing for me and something I highly stress when figuring out if we want to try to pursue a relationship or not. I am hoping for someone who can enjoy activities together, eat new foods, or just have conversations online while doing our own work or gaming. I am looking for a best friend along with them being my partner. Long term online, I dont mind if its starts online first but there has to be some sort of intention if things are going well that we will meet in person, not seeking solely a online thing.
