Hi. I am in Los Feliz. I am looking for someone to chat with about music, film, books, art, spirituality, or anything else. I like working out (Lagree/yoga), writing, shopping, primping, learning to cook, learning in general, going on walks with my dog, watching films, lounging by the pool, partying when the mood strikes even though I am mostly either busy being productive or watching movies, and reading.
I have the most experience as a paralegal, I have eight years of experience there, but I have had jobs from waitress, to hotel concierge, to AP/AR for a tech company in Folsom.
My dream is to be a screenwriter and I am actually wrapping up a degree in film/philosophy (college in your 30s is both fun and challenging!) but I am looking for a job right now (which is why I have the time to chat on Reddit).
What I could use an opinion on, should you be inclined:
I am considering a coding bootcamp for software engineering, even though their assessment I took said to train for data analyst. Tell me your thoughts on coding bootcamps if you have any knowledge there. I know coding usually requires a bachelor’s, but it is also something you can teach yourself if you’re sharp and committed, and so I felt the bootcamp would be a nice foundation for self study. The bootcamp is on the Forbes top ten list for coding bootcamps, and it is actually on there three times, with number 4 of 10 on the list being for SE training within that company.
I am going to wind down to watch a movie with my dog, so if you’d like to chat just send a message!
XoXo
