I work in Glendale not far from where the Burbank Ikea is, and I'm looking to rent a place to stay for the next six months or so. I'm 39, Male, work full time professionally, quiet, and I don't drink or smoke. No pets, no kids. I enjoy hiking on weekends, occasional boardgames or RPGs; not a big follower of pop culture. Message and I'll be happy to privately provide a link to social media so you can check me out.
Here's what I'm looking for:
-For just renting a room in someone's place, my budget is up to 1000. In this case I would want probably to move out around late October. I would prefer a room that is at least partially furnished (has a full or queen bed). I'm fine with a shared bathroom, provided I have a spot for my essentials (shave kit, toothbrush, toiletries, etc). I don't need livingroom access but I need strong wifi and some kitchen use, and perhaps a spot for my air fryer. I need an easy place to park my small Prius, access to laundry that I don't need quarters for, and to perhaps be allowed an occasional guest in my room.
-For a studio or small apartment, my budget is maybe up to 1600. In this case it doesn't need to be furnished. Ideally we could start with a 6 month lease that converts to month-to-month afterward. I need on-site (or in-unit) laundry that I don't need quarters for, an easy place to park my Prius, relatively safe part of town, and at least 400 sq ft of space.

I have an apartment in Huntington Beach with my ex and the lease runs until the end of October - I still have to pay my half of that for the next six months, and that's why I'm looking for a temporary low budget spot close to work. If it's a great situation, may be open to extending it, but at the end of October I'll need somewhere to put my furniture.
