I don’t LARP much, but I attend a number of conventions and Ren Faires every year, and my biggest problem has always been the shoes. After walking all day I’ll end up sore from uneven support (I have very flat feet) and blistered.
I have two sets of pleather shin/knee high boots I use, a brown set I got for my Jedi costume, and a black pirate boot set from Medieval Collectibles. Neither are the best, but the pirate boots are awful. Almost no tread, thin soles I can feel every rock through, zero support.
I’m looking for any recommendations for brands or specific boots I could look into thy would better suit my needs. I’m looking to get one brown pair and one black pair. Real leather is nice but not necessary. The brown ones should be a similar style as Jedi boots (straight brown boots, no laces or buckles, hidden zippers) as these will also be used for my Jedi garb, black doesn’t matter as much. Obviously both should be passable as fantasy/adventurer boots, nothing too modern.
