Hi there, I've built a shield with a friend for use at local larps, he did the foam glueing, I did the shaping and paint and a year later I've come.to find an issue.
I've been using the Tyges Supplies Flex paint for the Shield, something I've used on multiple projects with no issues at all.
Large cracks seem to have appeared in places around the shield, with tears in the foam the same shape as the paint cracks with varying depths.
Its been stored alongside other weapons and kit, some of which have used the very same Flex paints and seems to be the only thing suffering.
It looks as though the paint might have shrunk in places and pulled the foam apart, anyone got any experience with this?
Annoyingly, I took to repairing the damaged before actually taking any photos, so sorry, I've got no references to provide.
Thanks!
