Me and my friend(s) are planning to go to LARP event in PA(we live in Delaware) next month for the first time. We're super excited about it and I already have the idea I want to do a druid since the theme seems to be very much a midevil fantasy setting and takes place in a mountain/wood area. Unfortunately, the most experience I have with role-playing is a few campaigns of DnD, so I know absolutely nothing about exactly how LARPing works or the best way to get materials for costumes, weapons etc. I would love any advice for a beginner and how to make/get a druid staff and costume. Preferably I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible, but my budget would be around $200-$500(the event itself is going to be around $150)
