Planning to go to Malaysia by next month to visit a friend at PJ. It will be my first ever international trip and I may be alone, if I am unable to join her family due to my schedule. I have asked her which is the best way to go to my accomodation (within the vicinity of Atria Shopping Gallery). She told me to use Grab, however, I am not a user of Grab even in the Philippines as I am more familiar with other public transport in my country and have not lived in the city for quite sometime. I do have remaining credits and my grab app is linked to my credit card.

As I am on a tight budget, I want to ask if which is a better option-- if it's better to transfer credits to Grab wallet or directly use the card linked to my account? Will other charges like conversion, service, etc. be big? I may also use this to move around the PJ just in case. Thank you.
