Hello all, I hope that i am not breaking any rules in my post, I'm sure I'll be notified if I am. I am interested in using kratom to get off opiates, I have been told by some people it was a great tool and others said it didn't help at all. I did some research and I'm guessing the red vein maeng da would be the best type for me, should I try this first or is there another type I should consider? I started taking opiates after I was in a bad car wreck and started pain management in 2011 and then on 2017 my health insurance changed and I couldn't find a doctor who took my insurance and treated me the same as my previous pain management doctor did. I dealt with the pain the best I could but after a year without medication and 2 screws loosened in my ankle causing more pain than I what I was previously being treated for I turned to buying what I could off the streets and that led to 3 overdoses in a year. I am hoping that by trying kratom I can get relief from my pain and get off of opiates, I tried Suboxone before but it didn't help with my pain just helped me stop taking opiates. Is there another type of kratom I should take to treat pain and what is the best method of using it. Someone told me to try making a tea and putting a dash of orange juice in it and another person said to trfy the liquid extract. I purchased pills and someone gifted me a bag of powder. How much should I start off with since I have a past history of using opiates? Any suggestions or advice would be very much appreciated but please no hostile or rude responses, I am a human who makes mistakes just like everyone else. Anyway, thanks guys and have a good morning!
