Stimulating strain of kratom mixed with alcohol?

I've mixed kratom and alcohol before with no problems, but the strain of Green MD I got from a new vendor is wayyy more on the stimulating side (almost like a white) than the Green MD that I am used to. I like mixing kratom and alcohol, but I am afraid that this strain and alcohol will just cancel out each other's effects. When I used to take adderall, I couldn't feel alcohol on it. I know that kratom is nothing like adderall but they are both stimulating. Has anyone had experience with mixing a stimulating strain with alcohol before?
