I've spent the last week digging DEEP and this rabbithole is insane. Last time I posted asking for help (I think?) I had 42 separate events. I now have 291 starting all the way back in the 1930s up to today, chronicling (to the best of my ability) every major or notable step in the development, spread, and battle of modern social justice. It's going to be a big video (I currently have 12 Gigs of reference files already prepared), and while some people have done deep dives on the subject, no one's going to have a video like mine.
Without spoiling too much, I am still looking for additional input from any internet archivists or shitposters with long-ass memories who could help refresh my memory on any significant events, figures (both for and against), videos, books, magazine articles, Twitterstorms, fake news slime campaigns, or 4chan hoaxes that you don't want to see me miss.
In addition to the events surrounding Gamergate, I will be including the buildup to and aftermath of the Trump campaign (and Obama too to a lesser extent), Pewdiepiegate, and Brexit. I will not be covering any drama or Youtuber skirmishes that do not strictly relate to the Social Justice movement, so the alt-right will be a peripheral subject.
I can't include everything, I put it to you guys one more time, just so I don't miss anything really big (the few responses I got in the last thread were very helpful). What events, people, or moments over the past few decades can you remember that meaningfully contributed to the social justice movement or bringing your awareness to it or it's fringe elements?
