Tonight we went to Island Spa in Edison NJ and I was blown away by how clean it was, the staff was accommodating and friendly and the food was pretty good as well. The wet area has a decent sized steam room with eucalyptus scent...thick steam but not so hot that it's unbearable. The dry sauna was hot and again...ample room. 3 large hot tubs...and one on the cooler side. Communal showers with body gel, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of hand towels and lounge chairs to rest up.

The rest of the facility had mixed gender cool huts, hot huts...a bunch of them that I didn't go into to.

Met a few men in the wet area and had a great conversation with this guy that was originally from New Orleans but has been living up here. Was nice to just bullshit with someone in the hot tub.

I recommend the place!
