I (24M) live in the Southern US and thus it is often humid and hot here.I have always struggled with acne breakouts since my teenage years. My currently skincare routine is as follows:
AM:
- CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
- Benzoyl Peroxide/Clindamycin mix (prescribed by doctor)
- CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
PM:
- CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
- Trentinoin (prescribed by doctor)
- CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
I also try to adopt other acne-friendly habits (change pillowcases in the middle of the week, clean my phone screen, try to avoid touching my face and washing hands often, eat relatively healthy).
However, I am still getting mixed results at the moment. I also feel the CeraVe lotions act against me and make my face more oily in the day. I am jealous of seeing Koreans with such perfect clear skin and was wondering if perhaps there is a good Korean skincare routine for skin like mine? I see many products on my Insta reel, so I am not sure where to start.
