I'm sorry if this isn't the right subreddit to ask, but I'm taking elementary Korean in college and I realized how hard it's been for me to learn Korean. I'm almost finished with the semester, but almost the entire time I struggle with remembering words. I take the class online, so I don't speak to any of my classmates since we haven't had a group video chat yet, but will be having one in a few days. I do know some Korean words, but without someone to speak to a lot, I may forget them.
Since the class is online, we had to read the textbook on our own, but the tutor does read the vocabulary words to us so we can at least know what it sounds like. I was wondering, did anyone else struggle with elementary Korean, or maybe it's just because I'm doing the class online? Is it normal to feel that elementary Korean is hard?
