I’m currently in Canada, but I’m seriously considering moving back to Kochi. I’ve been facing a lot of mental health challenges recently, and it’s been weighing heavily on me. The isolation, financial stress, and pressure of balancing school and work are taking a toll on my well-being.

I relocated here from Kerala with high hopes, but adjusting to life here, especially with the cultural and environmental changes, has been tougher than I expected. I’m finding it difficult to manage everything, and some days feel overwhelmingly stressful. I’m questioning if it’s worth it to stay here when I’m not feeling mentally healthy.

On the one hand, I know I’d be closer to family and friends back home, which might offer more emotional support. But at the same time, I feel like I’m giving up on my goals and dreams here. The pressure to succeed is strong, but my mental state is starting to make me reconsider what’s best for me in the long run.

Has anyone else been through something similar? How did you manage this kind of situation, or did you end up making a big life change like this? Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful.
