Although it’s said that every stranger is a friend you haven’t met yet, recently I’ve been thinking that you can’t actually make connections or be friends with random strangers you see on the street. The laugh or smile you give them can sometimes turn out to be creepy. People say it’s all about confidence and stuff, and yeah, it is, but for the most part, familiarization matters the most. For instance, strangers we regularly see at the gym might eventually join our company after a few encounters, right? It’s similar when meeting people outside; you can’t be friends with someone you just randomly met. There has to be some sort of familiarity or a mutual friend. Do you think these Instagram reels and stuff have been messing with our minds a bit too much?
