Question - this is my first time going to knotts. My whole goal was to dress up and have fun in costume. I just bought tix... and now I am finding there is a no costume rule.
What if we are going as non scary things? I was going to wear a traditional Chinese hanfu gown (I'm Chinese) so it's like a long cultural dress (it's blue and pink and super feminine with flowers) and super Chinese, and NOT scary at all (i wasn't going to wear creepy makeup either).
And my bf was going as SpongeBob. Another friend was going to be super Mario.
Since these things are not scary and can't be mistaken as scare actors, can we get away with wearing it? I read some posts saying people in non scary outfits can get in so I want to be sure...
We got tix for scary farm and boofet starting at 530pm.
