Every time I bend over to pick up a dish out of a rack anywhere near him, he talks about wanting to put a baby in me. Loudly. Every time I walk into the restaurant for a shift, and he is opening, he greets me with “I will always love you”. If we are serving customers together at the counter, he always places both hands on my waist to either “shift” me out of his way or to grab whatever he needs around me.

I have threatened him with all of the chef’s knives. Nothing fazes him. Just says he is “keeping it real” with me.

He is the owner’s friend and she refuses to fire him. Multiple customers have complained about him, there are negative reviews about him in particular on our Google reviews and he is almost always 10-20 minutes late for every single shift. Chef haaates him and tried to get him fired but she simply wouldn’t budge.

I honestly immediately start cussing him out, but he just laughs at me. And this is in front of everybody too. Owner, my other coworkers, the chef. I started picking up more shifts at my other job and essentially started working here a lot less recently. So that’s never more than 14 hours in a week.

I’m leaving the country in a few months. I have no support from any family or friends here nor a strong community like he does. I’m just trying to make enough money and get out of here when I can. I always think about all the ways I could confront him seriously, including casually stabbing him tbh. Just trying to tough it out till I can be done with this job and hopefully on my last day I can dump laxatives in his coffee.

I actually whacked the side of his arm when he breathed a little too close to my neck with the side of a knife and he laughed? He actually laughed and said I take things too seriously. This fucker has a 14 yo daughter btw. Every time I mention that he needs to remember his daughter when he does this vile shit, he asks me how I think he got that child. I’m convinced he has serious mental health illnesses.

Why is it not obvious that it’s tough to find even a part time job these days? I really wish I could. I do have another job and I am working more hours there than at this restaurant. I’m just venting, you don’t have to engage at all. Appreciate your comment regardless.
