Closing my station at the end of dinner service when a dishwasher confronts me and punches me in the jaw. First time for everything. He got fired and I have a paid day off. We weren’t even busy. Tensions are high so keep your left up. Peace
has happened to me before too. some people just can't handle the pressure and take it out on others. one dude hit me in my burn after a server he liked asked me about the obvious burn on my arm.
like hard as he could, punched the burn on my arm.
such a weird guy.
same guy who complained about being understaffed.
i left right then and never went back. place was closed a few months later too. (i only worked there 3 weeks and am not claiming it closing had anything to do with me. that sous who hit me was most likely at least part of the reason tho.)
