I grew up in kitchens, Fridays, Outback Steakhouse, Italian restaurants, High volume diner in Vegas; but I got out years ago to go to the oilfield. Got injured a few years ago and I’ve just been at home since the pandemic hit and now I want to do something again. I went to this local burger shop, good food there. I ordered a side of garlic aioli fries because they’re new for them. It was decent but a little bit too acidic. It was slow for them and the owner ( I didn’t know he was); came and asked how it was. I told him straight, it was good enough but a little too acidic and so on. We started talking and he offered me a job to accommodate me. Has anyone else gone through a comeback and regretted it? I’m in my 40s now; so I’m not going to bend over backwards for anyone. Shed some light on me guys please!
