Hello everyone!

I got inspired a while back to write some Star Wars content, and I found an amazing character that is CRIMINALLY underused! That character is Abeloth, arguably the most powerful character in all of Star Wars. In fact, she’s so powerful that she took control of my hands and wrote this monster script that is about 4000 words long (not including intro stuff and SFX list) and with about 30 sound effects (all of which I tried finding stuff for and 90% of which I actually found stuff for)! Although, I was able to haggle the ability to do this script with all, none, or some of the SFX indicated for the meagre price of my soul! A bargain if I do say so myself.

Here’s the setup for the script:

The listener is a scientist working in a high tech research lab on a planet in the Star Wars galaxy. They’re working on a prototype of an anti-force-shield, that is a shield that completely negates the influence of the force within it, although at the cost of blocking anything from entering or leaving it and requiring someone to be inside the shield to operate it. This script begins with the listener running a test of the shield with them inside of it, and everyone else outside of the shield. Suddenly, everyone stops talking, staring off into space. The room then erupts into chaos, as unbeknownst to them, Abeloth has manifested herself on their planet. Her very presence invades the minds of everyone on the planet at once, painfully overwhelming their minds with hers. After a few seconds, the screaming and chaos stops, as everyone’s minds have been completely dominated by Abeloth. But being in the shield, the listener is unaffected, forced to watch in horror as these events unfold in front of them. Abeloth can feel this disturbance in the force, and both intrigued and angered by such a challenge to her power, she decides to investigate what has happened. The listener watches in horror as an opaque mist forms outside the shield, and a form slowly materializes. Abeloth is here for you…

As always with my scripts, feel free to improvise! While I write things one way, I don’t perform, so saying things in a way that flows better for you is totally fine! There have never been any on screen depictions or audio depictions of Abeloth (to my knowledge) before so feel free to make her your own, or just follow the script. As I said before, this script can be performed with, without, or with some of the SFX. If you choose not to do some SFX then a little more description might be warranted so the listener knows what’s going on, but I tried to make it so the SFX is complementary rather than integral to the script (whether I was successful at that though is up to interpretation hahaha). Also, while I’ve never done audio mixing if you’re performing or thinking about performing this script and have questions feel free to contact me!
