Leaving my car for the day at churches parking lot?
Post Body

Hello everybody!

Can I leave my car at a churches parking lot? it doesn't says anywhere parking costs money there, and no "private property" signs at all.

I've been doing this for the last week, leaving my car approx between 5am to 5pm. however today someone left me a note under my wiper, claiming he's the owner/acting on the behalf of the church and he demands $100/month for a reserved parking spot.

is this even legal? I even called the number on the note and told him I'll "consider" his offer if he'll prove me that he is who he claims to be.

for those who knows or lives in the area, its "Kingston pilgrim holiness church" on 2900 princess st. , in west end.

Thanks!
