Hello all, I’m just writing this post as a potential way for students looking to get some volunteer hours or anyone interested in a volunteering related activity. Every summer for a while on my families farm we have baby chickens that we let kids come and interact with during our community garden project, they get to learn about agricultural practices via vegetable growing and learn how to care for animals at the same time. If anyone is interested in coming to help out feel free to send a dm for location and when we start it. It’s a great atmosphere for those looking to fulfill hours or just want something to do in the summer. All proceeds grown during the summer are donated to local shelters and food organizations. thank you in advance for your interest if any and hope to see some people come down and help or just have some fun ✌️
