So I haven’t been to the park since may of 2019 (pre Orion) and now a friend is coming in from New Jersey and we’re going to KI on Friday the 22nd. The biggest ride he’s been on is either Talon or Hydra at Dorney Park. He’s not scared at all he just hasn’t been on most major coasters because he’s in NJ.

I haven’t been since Orion opened and also have somehow never managed to ride Beast despite going there about 20 times.

We’re going at rope drop and I’m debating what ride to start the day with. Given we only have one day the debate in my head was between beast and Orion. So which ride has the longer waits given my last visit was pre covid.

Which ride should I start with and has anything major changed like in terms of line lengths at certain rides since last time I was there Vortex was still running? Any advice on pacing the day? I figured this sub would give me a better idea so I don’t mess up his only shot at kings island for the foreseeable future.
