Opinion on Elden Ring?

I think in this sub most people played all From Software games, so your opinion is going to be more complete that the folks in the main sub, so what are your troughs about Elden Ring?

I'm afraid of the crafting, not fall damage, and the jump points of the horse, but I'm still amazed that From Software made it this far without falling apart like most AAA companies.

I still see the top tier level design and narrative that was in King's Field and Shadow Tower games.
