I was rereading KKC for the first time and noticed something in the initial conversation between the Chronicler and Kote.
Kote says it was all a long time ago and Chronicler says that it was only two years ago.
If this is so, we can expect the third book to tell the story till two years before Kvothe became Kote.
So anyone, how old is Kvothe, the innkeeper?
Chronicler says at one point he looks no older than 25. I think he is really that young or close to it. We know Chronicler wrote Mating Habits of the Common Draccus and that Kvothe read it at the University when he was 15. Since Chronicler is still able to walk from town to town and survive a few strong blows to the head I doubt Chronicler is to far past middle aged.
I will say if Kvothe spent more time in the Fae that could have aged him differently, he may be older than he appears since he could have spent up to a year in the Fae and only three days passed in the mortal realm.
