Is KH Story really THAT Complicated?

Until now i played KH1, COM, 358/2 DAYS and KH2. I will start BBS very soon and i saw how people were talking about the story being too confusing and complicated but up to this point i think it's pretty straightforward. What are your thoughts on this?

Edit: i take back what i said. After starting BBS the story started to get confusing but this game in my opinion has the best gameplay and story compared to the other games i played in the series.(Can't talk about the future games tho cause i didn't play them yet)
