I was rewatching Back Cover yesterday and two thoughts occurred. First, The MoM is kind of a dick to all the foretellers, except Ava. He’s especially a dick to Aced and Ira. He’s very sarcastic, belittling, playful, and sometimes rude to the foretellers. However, when giving Ava her role, he was very respectful, spoke in a serious tone, and was straight to the point. To me this is a sign of how important Ava’s mission was to The MoM and how he gave the other foretellers roles just to keep them busy. However, Luxu’s role is undoubtedly the most important seeing as how The MoM can’t gaze into the future without Luxu fulfilling his role. Yet The MoM does kind of play with Luxu a bit. Perhaps I’m reading too much into this. Thoughts?
Second, the keyblade war that the foretellers freak out over is the second war in KH3, not the first war that they start. The first war that they start was detailed on the lost page. So this made me think, was that first war not even “necessary”? Seems like The MoM literally started that first war just for the hell of it, but that first war is what kicks off the longgggg chain of events that eventually lead to the second war (the one at the end of the book of prophecies). Has this been touched upon by nomura or in khux? Thanks.
