[KHUX] need help with a Vexen XII setup

Managed to get to then end of the questline with little issue but am making no headway against the final quest. This is the setup I've been using along with my current best medals.
I pulled in the beginner utility banner just to get someone with dispel but for some reason, even after using Belle and iKairi2 the only medal in my setup that hits for more than 1 damage is HD Aqua who is only hitting for 208, and that is after Terra buffs magic strength to 3.
Any advice would be helpful.
