What is Blastchat?

Blastchat is at heart a messaging app. However, it has grown into much more. The Blastchat community is a place where people come to have authentic, real-time conversations. Users can choose to communicate in public or in private. What truly makes Blastchat special is the community. We do not display followers or likes publicly. The purpose of this is to move away from the norm of posting for attention online. We only want authentic genuine conversations going on.

What is new?

In addition to the integration of Kin we have made various security changes with the help of other community members. We have also been working very closely with AWS to make sure we are using the very best security measures they have to offer. In addition to the security changes, we have added a few new features such as a notifications tab, saving a blast, and a vertical scroll options.

What can you do with Kin?

Three months ago we were accepted into the Kin developer program. This program allowed us to integrate a cryptocurrency (Kin) into Blastchat. So for the past three months we have been working non stop to make this a reality. With Kin, Blastchat is in a position to truly revolutionize the way we interact on the internet.

Blastchat uses Kin to rewards users for authentic communication. Whenever a user communicates in any way with another user they earn Kin. We have created an economy within Blastchat using Kin. Users that add to the overall discussion get rewarded with Kin. Users that take from the discussion give Kin.

I want to let everyone know that this is just the beginning. We are already hard at work on the next update. Bugs are bound to happen for some users and we have committed a team to focusing solely on bug squashing. Just point them out and we will be on them.

The most exciting of the things to come are the new spend opportunities. We have partnered with various small business and online stores to bring a diverse option of products and services to spend your Kin on. We are currently dotting our i's and crossing our t's as far as these opportunities come. Users can look forward to these changes in the next update.
