This is a little long.
S4E8: When they were walking back to the van, V's kiss on Eve's cheek is one of the sweetest moments I've ever watched on Television. Villanelle was being vulnerable and open. But most importantly, she freely gave Eve a choice to decide for herself. V's body language immediately after the peck on the cheek said everything about where she was in her journey. The peck had a sense of innocence which ties into V's playfulness at heart. The true core of her being.
Villanelle grew so much. She was ready to explore & try out the idea of "normalcy". Would it last? Who knows. Maybe she would've figured out her own version of what normal is. Who knows.
But after rewatching it, I understand what Jodie & Sandra meant when they said they tried their best to stay true to the characters. It was expressed through their mannerisms, body language, and whatever improvisation they were allowed to do.
With their acting choices, JC & SO gave the audience real insight into where these characters were at internally & emotionally, and honestly that's what matters the most.
